SE vs Dynamic SE

I have been splitting hairs over this and would like to know your opinions.

When comparing two identically specced cars so black pack, privacy glass and the same wheels(cost option on SE)

Differences are completely visual - mainly front and side splitters/spoilers, side badge, painted brake callipers and rear diffuser?

Is this worth the increase cost of £2360 - will it even be noticeable on the car?

Appreciate your opinions.

I don’t like the dynamic’s copper effect finish bits, didn’t want the darker wheels, and the other changes had no benefit to me at all, but it’s all a matter of taste (I’ve gone for the “country” look), so you pays your money and takes your choice!

Very true,
I am not sure in a darker colour how obvious the changes are if both cars have the same wheels and black pack.

Is Dynamic now just an aesthetic difference like it is on the Disco 5? It used to be mechanical differences and was well worth having. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yes - it’s entirely cosmetic and external (ie, no interior differences)

On the 494 in Australia, the Dynamic included the so-called “dynamic driving mode”, which I understood allowed you to configure throttle, steering, and suspension response. Is that no longer the case with the new model or is it now standard? MY21.5 HSE 221KW D16

Although I don't wish to contradict an honorable member, I think there is a significant interior difference between SE and R Dynamic if you choose an interior other than black and that is that the SE is monotone and the R Dynamic is duotone with black.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

BTW, finally saw a Giola Green FE in Listers in Hereford showroom. That is a tick for me.

Is it? I just priced one up (to get the brochure for what I’ve orders) and config dynamic is still and extra, and a waste of money. Had it on the velar, used it once and that was it. 😂

The off-road configurable dynamics are an extra but the regular config dynamics are listed under standard features. I've found this very useful being able to choose what to switch on or off, I like to use the dynamic setting on steering and suspension but keeps others as regular. Tim

That’s true, the velar has that and everything is turned up and never changed 😂

L461 doesn't the active rear diff even as an option, does it? Only on the 510bhp versions along with the rear steer system.

Shame as it makes the L491 less capable than the L494 it replaces. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
