Hi all
Can anyone recommend someone who can repair the base of my passenger seat in the Buckinghamshire area. The leather went stiff after having a chemical spilt on it and has now cracked.
So far one company has stated they could replace the panel but depending on what off cuts they have it might not be an exact match!
I think it may need more than one panel replacing given the area that has hardened marked in red in the pictures and I would prefer a good match to the rest of the seating which is all in good condition.

Alternatively is anyone selling an ivory seat base in perforated Oxford/Windsor leather for MY2012 HSE sport -----------------------------------------------

Have you tried pricing it up at a dealership or breakers to supply? Would think it’s possibly cheaper and at least will match the car perfectly?

Stupid money at main dealer, replaced one on my A/B that got ripped by a comb with vat cost me around £600.00

Haven’t been to a main dealer or Indy yet but looking on line the price of the seat cover looks to be around £680. Just checking for repair quotes to see if an expert repair might be an option.

Can the seat base be easily removed without having to remove the whole seat including disconnecting the air bags? -----------------------------------------------

Dead easy to remove seat base, 4 torx screw/bolts, few electrical plugs and clips and just lifts out, if you do a search here the are plenty of post in regards to replacing cushion foam. I did replace the torx screws with conventional flanged hex bolts as though the torx's were a pain to torque up.
