Roof box garage roof hoist advice

Hi folks, we have a 510 litre box that currently sits on top of our trailer in the garage when not in use. However it’s a faff between my wife and I to manoeuvre if we just want to use the trailer. So eureka there is a solution the internet says . So before I press the button, has anyone any advice to keep me right.

Hi Steve, I suppose it depends on how heavy your roof box is and what the construction of your garage roof/ceiling is like. My roof box is relatively light and I just hoist it up onto an overhead RSJ with two straps (see photo).
