I got 30 mpg solo from my 3.6 TDV8 on a recent trip to Sussex , towing our twin axle caravan 20 mpg , the towing experience is effortless best tow vehicle I've ever owned.

Thanks all, and yes i did try a 4.2sc and... me!!!!! think i may go that way as no issues that turbos and egrs bring. as not going to be used as an every day motor.
