After a fuel filter was fitted as part of a scheduled service, the tech pulled on the pipe fitting that connected to the top of the fuel filter (the line coming from the fuel cooler) a number of times to check it was properly secured and it came free and on trying it again it didn't. They wanted to replace the straight away but didn't have the part in stock so wanted to keep the vehicle and fit the next day. Unfortunately i was unable to leave it with them.
No issue since with it and now im thinking of replacing it myself as its just a push fit fuel line both ends. Cant track the part down online which has a yellow fitting fuel filter end and a blue fitting the fuel cooler end.
Am i being over cautious and is it usual to tug at it several times after re fitting?
