P0183-17 Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High Input

Hi Guys,
My 2015 RRS 3.0D [306bhp] has chucked up an amber engine management light, which disappears after a while, [2nd time this has happened] i had the fault code read today and it told me the intermittent problem was P0183 which is the fuel temperature sensor. I have been told this is situated in the bottom of the injection pump.

Can anyone tell me if they have experienced this and if it was indeed a replacement sensor required, i have found the part no; LR023147 which is only £15, but not sure on how easy/hard it is to fit [i was thinking you may have to relieve the fuel pressure first then after installation reset the fuel pressure sensor and then re-pressurize? Is this best left to the garage?

Is this fuel injection pump in the right hand side of the engine bay level with the top of the right hand suspension housing?

Pictures attached of what i believe to be the pump and sensor

Thanks for your help
