United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
Oil in air filter, misfire and Restricted performance

So I recently performed some maintenance on my RRS 2013 TDV6. All fluids, timing belts, brakes and door lock actuators. The car drove fine, had plenty of power and felt great. The gear changes felt smoother and overall I was quite content with the car. After that the next day I had to travel so the car sat for about 1 week. When I went back to drive it, it threw up the deadly Restricted performance message on the dash . I also got the following codes when I scanned it

1.P00BD-07 Mass Or Volume Air Flow A Circuit

Range/performance - Air Flow Too High
Pending

2.P1247-00 Turbocharger Boost Pressure Low
Permanent

3.P0235-94 Turbocharger/supercharger Boost Sensor
A Circuit
Pending

4.P00AA-17 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit -
Bank 2
Intermittent

I thought maybe the mafs are dirty so I thought I would clean them and see if that helps. Unfortunately I saw plenty of oil in the intake pipes and the filter was full of oil and the car would misfire badly on acceleration.

The mechanic took back the car and told me nothing was wrong with it but as soon as I drive it the restricted performance comes back on.

After some digging i thought it might be the crankcase breather but it looks to be fine, otherwise might be that the turbos have given up. I really don't know at this point.

If any of you guys have gone through something similar please comment what were the steps taken next. Any help is welcomed

Kind regards

Sounds like the Turbo has gone and dumped a load of oil in to the intake which has fouled your air filter and MAF.

Well I heard it was a common problem but didn't think it would happen to a 2013 with 90K miles Smile

What are my options now, new turbos or can I get them rebuilt?
