When I check the ad and the registration data with the transportation authorities, both state the same 3l petrol. The company that sells it is some ways away from home but now I really want to see this car in person and hear the explanation to this mystery.

The one thing to look out for is the dreaded crossover coolant pipe failure - that's about the only 'weakness' on these engines. On a MY14 model, it's ripe for replacement now. Quite a few in ZA as well, although not as popular as the SCV8. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport Supercharged V8 HSE Dynamic Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ
