Mirror won’t fold in

2011 HSE

Right side view mirror will it fold in when I lock the car.

Any advise on where to start

If you can hear the motor clicking and trying to fold it, it will probably need lubricating. I think I used some silicone lubricant spray on mine.
They are designed to fold forward, so carefully push it as far as its will go and liberally spray it.
