Rear view camera problem - L494 2017

Hi,

This is a self inflicted problem I’m afraid.
I bought this RRS a couple of weeks ago from a main dealer with a warranty.
I bought a genuine black pack and fit it myself, easy enough!!!
It was only in the bad weather this week that I noticed water coming out of the rear door lock when it was opened.
Later that day the rear camera view stopped working.
It recognises that reverse is selected and PDC works but no camera.

I’ve realised that when I removed the old silver rear door trim, one of the old clips had stayed in and with the new one already having clips I didn’t notice. One part of the trim wasn’t exactly flush, water has got in and must have damaged the camera.

Before I try and buy a new camera, I just wondered if anybody knew which fuse is the exact one that controls the rear camera.
Powerful have a spreadsheet showing all fuse positions and on that it says no 26 in the luggage section for the rear camera. In the owners book it says, parking aid, rear view mirror, cameras and blind spot together are on 27. Tested both though and they’re not blown.

Is there another fuse or will it be the camera?
I would try and get it done under warranty but I don’t want to risk it with me fitting the trim.

Any help is appreciated. Getting grief of the wife, it’s her car!!!!

Still needing advice if anybody can help.
As a little update, now it’s not raining as much. The trim being fit correctly has stopped the leak. The camera came back on for one journey a couple of weeks ago after pulling the fuses, testing them and refitting but again has gone off.

Its definitely worth a try tonight with the hairdryer. Im pretty sure its dried up now though. The leaks been sorted for a few weeks now.
Does anybody know how the camera box detaches. Does it pull from the outside or do you have to get the boot trim off and release from inside. I'd like to take a look inside the box at the camera and sensor.

Once you remove the boot trim you will see the camera, it is easy enough to swap out, they suffer from water ingress through the clips so make sure you put some clear silicone on the clips when you fit the new one

Thanks, just need to source a cheap camera unit now. The one on mine has the camera and another sensor. In one unit. There’s a couple of used ones on eBay. Does anybody know what the other sensor is for?
I lived in hope that when it dried out it would work again. It did come back on for a day a few weeks back but nothing since and it’s been dry for a while now.
