7 year service looming

So my RRS is needing its 7 year service next month and I know it’s a big one with belt replacements etc. Anyway thought I’d get a few quotes from local garages. Below are the quotes I got. All inc vat.
JAS Land Rover specialist in York, £1070.00
County Garage Land Rover specialists in York, £912.00
Green Oval in Wetherby, £1320.00
Land Rover Wakefield, £1278.00
Land Rover Huddersfield, £1299.00
Land Rover York couldn’t find my vehicle and wanted the vin number
Land Rover Leeds didn’t even answer phone and got fed up after 10 mins of waiting.

Question is do I go down the dealer route or independent ? My car has a warranty so work done needs to be as per Land Rover Schedule
Thanks for your comments in advance

I would go with the specialist. Both JAS and County claim to maintain your LR warranty, so whichever you are most comfortable with.

If you do go LR Main Dealer what do you get over and above the specialist other than a quick valet? MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)

Yes they both update the online service history so that’s good. Ones half hour away and the other 50 mins away from my home so hoping whoever I choose offer a courtesy car or even better would be pick up and drop off service. This could be the decider for me.

Where abouts in Yorkshire are you. I use LRS in Hull, and he updated my online history and can do warranty work

Mine's also due for that service.

Got 2 quotes:
LR Stellenbosch: R13055
LR Constantiaberg: R11273

at current ZAR vs GBP, that's 675.40 vs 583.21, but the detailed list on the second one seems to be missing the 8L of oil required, so much of a muchness when I add that in.

Taking it to my trusty indie rather, since I need a new warranty anyway. --

Hi, I had all the belts changed the gearbox flushed, transfer box and diff oils done at JAS last year, can't fault the service but there was a 3 month wait to get in, they were looking for another mechanic so the time scale may have improved.

They also have a few freelanders as courtesy cars, that can be booked if required.

Well I’ve booked in at JAS and bargain as the quote has gone down to £960 once he put all relevant information of car in. So on this and after a long conversation about the gear box flush I have booked this in too. The overall cost is still cheaper the the main dealer. Only problem is they can’t do anything until September but hopefully they will bring it forward as they have taken on a new tech but need to make sure he/she is good enough to let loose on our cars before bringing jobs forward. They assure me it won’t affect the warranty with the service been a few weeks late as long as the mileage won’t go up too much as it won’t as my car is a 2nd car for me (I drive a van through the week)
