My RRS TDV6 WON'T MOVE....!!!! HELP...!!!!

Last week I was on the road and sudenly no power on the wheels.
I cannot accelerate.I stop the car.
Few minutes after I restart the engine: It sounds and turns ok.
No default on the dashboard but only a Big "F" on the left of the P,R,N,D digital indicator.
I put in D .....won't move.
I put in R .....won't move.
I come back in P and.....I heard a "clac, clac, clac, clac, clac,......" under the car
and impossible to put in P. (I need to stop the engine to put in P).

I think maybe in LOW RANGE it will change something.....
Si I presse the LOW RANGE button and....my god!!! Sudenly my dashboard flashs like a Christmas tree....!!! And the LOW/Hight button flash orange.
The green light "LOW" (like this use on your website) light on green on the dashboard.

What apprends? Gearbox? Transfert box? (Motor or solénoïd transfert box?)

I need help....thanks! 😌

sounds like a drive shaft or prop' shaft, easy enough to check, make sure you have some axel stands to hold the car up.
just grab the drive shafts, try twisting them, any play = problem to fix.

These posts crop up every now and again on here. I have heard of outcomes range from catastrophic engine failure to a very low battery, or even a fuse blown.

I had something similar happen to mine back in 2017. My mechanic diagnosed it as a split turbo hose. Once replaced it was fine but it also had a full service at the time so I can't say for sure what mine was.

Sorry I can't be more help but I'm sure other replies will help more.

I hope its not too bad for you. Barrie.

sounds like the gearbox to me.

If you are lucky, it maybe just the shift cable needs adjusting or greasing under the car.

Thanks All.....!!!
I change the gearbox oil (and I know how to change it.)

I go to check the 4 drive shaft if each weel and Front and Rear prop' shafts.
I checked the shift cable and nothing wrong...

I don't understand technicaly why my gearbox don't respond at all. Nothing...!
When I start the engine and I put on "D" or "R" no traction, but the engine sounds little différent than on "N". On "N" it sounds free. On "R or D" sounds little less free.
Like low presure in the box.... maybe......but why?

It's impossible the 6 interior gears are dead at the same Time ..!!!
Maybe mecatronic solenoids....?

I continue the recherch...

Thanks....thanks....!!!!

Maybe read her fault codes
See what that says about the gearbox

If you don’t have a reader, get an autel ap200 white. These are cheap
