2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Which oil viscosity will be best

Hi I’m going to look to do oil change in next month or so I know the oil recommended for my RRS L320 2013 is a 5w 30 C3,but I also hear people saying to go for a 5w 40 C3 ??? What do others think.The car has 64000 on clock.As ever appreciate the wise words of forum members

Hi, the correct grade of oil for the 3.0 diesel is 5/30 C1, I would stick with that, I've just changed mine with Miller's XF premium C1.

Hi Jimbg yes thanks I checked mine does have DPF BASED ON ENGINE NUMBER 306DT and also I believe if your exhaust tips are straight type it’s DPF if they are curved pointing down no DPF Thanks
