Hi Crraigymmmmm,

Awesome to hear. I’m wondering if during my four wheel alignment something has been damaged becuse since then (two weekends ago) I have a vibration in the steering wheel from 60 upwards (gets worse with speed up to 85) but is comes and goes but as soon as I brake the steering wheel really shakes. It’s running Pirelli’s already and they are in good condition.

I wonder if the arms need to be replaced because of some adjustment that was carried out at the garage for the alignment check?

Others may disagree but they are quite robust bits of kit, unless the cam bolts were not torqued enough I cant imagine them moving or anything getting damaged, I would question whether they managed to adjust them though as they do sieze and the only way to unseize is to cut them out

Hey Crraigymmmmm

So yesterday I changed the front discs and pads. Mintex cross drilled and grooved discs with Green Stuff pads. I also swapped over the from wheels left to right. The strong vibration / wobble under breaking is 90% gone and the steering wheel vibration / wobble at speed has reduced still there at 65+ but now settles out at 75. I’m now thinking wheel bearing? Or a buckles from wheel.

What I have noticed is steering wander I guess bushes would solve that topic right?

PS think this forum is awesome due to the knowledge it brings and massive cost savings. Just saying.
