2010 L320 lamp guards

Hi all, been trying to find the right parts and anywhere that has stock in UK for the front and rear light guards protection

Am I right with these part codes, if not, what are they please?

Front - VPLSP0010
Rear - VPLTP0064

Assume these pictures are the right items too? Just from the web -

Any idea links where I can purchase from ideally UK?

TIA

Is it just me but other than styling, is there any point in these in the real world? I take mine off-piste regularly and have yet to come across a situation that might warrant the fronts being needed, let alone the rears, which are (like the fronts) plastic covered.

Each to their own of course (ha! look at me!) but it is something I've wondered about.

Pufftmw - it’s certainly not for styling, you make a good point, and I am still undecided

If they were cheap enough like they used to be, then would give them a try, even if just for a short while

With a previous vehicle I have cracked a rear lamp with a little mishap, so guess it’s a little protection but hopefully not needed

Also doesn’t help with too much time on my hands stuck at home looking for little things to tinker with Very Happy

Did have a pigeon bounce off the front headlight that left a ding in the leading front edge of the bonnet but it never cracked the headlight so i think it did its job well enough. I do remember when the facelift L320 came out that someone damaged a light lense on here when they were a main dealer only part, and it was a new headlight as you cant just replace the facelift lenses like the early ones. Cost him a pretty penny, somewhere around the £900 mark at the time 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Hi buckster, agree the front lamp units are scary silly prices to replace, for OEM anyway.
hence why I started to think of these guards but the fronts seem pricy too £~200 for plastic covers.
Rears are <£50, which is fair enough.
If they were more reasonably priced would bite the bullet, even if didn’t like them then wouldn’t mind
Will keep looking
