Just had confirmation from LR Advice (eventually) that the 2020 map update will be the last one produced for the early Touch system. I had been holding out for the 2021 update which should have been released by now.

What year do you class as early ?

How can i tell what map i have ?

1. Go to the "Destination Entry" screen from the "Home Menu".
2. Press and hold the area between the two "T" in the word "Destination" for 10 seconds.
3. There will be a transition to the "Diagnosis Menu", press "Parts Information".
4. Read the "Disk Information" number in the format Vxx.xx.xx
5. To exit this menu, turn off the ignition and turn it on again.

I used Satnavishop for the L320 and that worked fine

Sat nav in Rangerovers is a waste of time,,I always use Waze or google as they are loads better. Andy.

waze and google are good for those that have a phone data plan and dont mind using a phone.

some want a clean look and use the cars nav screen....

I do prefer the built in sat nav myself but def would like upto date map

Aftermarket android (Iphone) head unit (I use IDCORE) -the very best solution. Clean, reliable and always uptodate, with all traffic (speed trap!) information.

By early, I mean launch until when the newer more graphical home screen came in.

It's the "Touch Pro" system I believe.
