New here

Hi all. New to the rrs club.collected an 09 3.7tdv rrs at the weekend. Not new to LR though. In the process of a complete rebuild on a 110csw and just chopped in my D3 2.7tdv.Has robe said though the rrs is stunning. The engine is mind blowing. I keep driving with the window open just to listen to the exhaust. I'm a 47 Yr old kid ffs lol

Anyway just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi

Welcome to the club. The TDV8 is a great engine. Thumbs Up

Make sure you give it 30 seconds - minute to idle down before switching off. It'll help to keep the turbos happier. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I use to get this and still do when battery is low, car turning off non essential modules to save power.

To be honest I thought the d3 was nice. This is just another step up but a stunning car. Used to the Land rover niggles lol. Never travel anywhere without a fault code reader etc. The combination of engine exhaust is a spectacular mix. It pulls the weight of the car beautifully. Am seriously impressed. Very Happy Very Happy

I'm even older than Boxers and I still do that with my 5.0 S/C and I've had the car for over eight years, maybe one day we will grow up, but not yet. Rolling with laughter

Cheers
