Hi all. Thinking of upgrading my 62reg L320 to a 2015 RRS by selling my Bmw 640 convertible 2013 and 2012 RRS Autobiography
Any advice welcome

Do it. Nice cars.
Get a driveshaft warranty if it’s a 3.0.
Make sure the car was had the 7 year belt service or know it’s coming. Indie cost over £1k.
Get One with the 5 year service pack.
Check arb pipes for corrosion. That £2400 at JLR.
Same on brake pipes. 2022 P440e AB

Shouldn't that have more than 5 services in the book? It's 6 or 7 years old (depending on what they mean by Year 2015).

Be worth checking carefully. I'd want to see that the belts have been done or the price adjusted accordingly as it's on the cusp. Be nice if it had a folder of receipts to back up the claim of a "comprehensive dealer service history" but that's pretty rare in a sale from a dealership of any sort. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

That’s close to dealer approved used prices, what is the warranty that is with the one you are looking at?

Does it have a glass roof, it makes it so much lighter and nicer. Everyone that gets in mine comments on it, at least go and look at one that has one so you know. Joined the X5 45e club

Not all warranties are equal, I really would get details. Does it exclude known issues or any limits?

If it was from right at the beginning of 2015, the belts would be due in a few months, that's why I mentioned it. As it's an end of 2015, that gives a bit of leeway. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I had a L320 62 plate Autobiography for 3 years and loved it but wanted something newer so went with the intention of buying a L494 TDV8 but came home with a highly specked up SVR ! Most surprising for me was how much more like a car to drive it was than the L320 which was gave the big 4X4 drive feel.

For me the jump from a L320 to a L494 was a massive inprovement in how it felt much more up to date with better tech and driver feel.
If yours is anything like mine then you will love it and wish you had upgraded ages ago. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine after nearly 2 years. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior
2012 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography santorini black with ebony/cirrus interior. Gone
