22" 10j Wheels, what size tyre?

Hi Guy's
I have 22"10J Wheels fitted to my 2012 Range Rover Sport.
Currently fitted with 285/35/22 Tyres.
What wider size tyre can i comfortably go to on the rears, would like a wider stance.
Thank you Dave.

You will get away with 295/40r22 but you need all 4 same size on the RRS’s as they are 50/50 drive. Andy.

Hi
What about i go 275/35/22 on the front and if they fit 315/35/22 on the rear both will be same 110 height.
And will give the wider stance i am looking for?
Cheers Dave

As profile height is calculated on percentage of width of tyre i.e 3.15x35 =110.25mm 2.75x35 =96.25mm, those sizes will still give you a approximate 28mm difference in diameter. To get near you would need to run 21" rims on the rear.

Cheers
Col

Should understeer like a supertanker too... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Sorry Guy's, don't know why i put 35 ratio twice.

Put wrong size, i meant 275/40/22, so same 110.

Tyres would be 315/35/22 and 275/40/22

Both are readily available sizes.

I'm just intrigued as to whether the rears would fit?

Regards Dave.
