I don't know about fixed but there's a guy on here who advertises to swap your "worn" key for a new one. Basically I think he takes the circuit board and hey bad out of your old key and puts it in an aftermarket key fob.

I think he does a 48 hour turnaround by post.

Here's the link to the "for sale" section on this site;

Others may correct me but that's probably your best option. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

If it’s just the casing you can do it yourself. New copies & OE fobs are available on eBay and you just transfer the internals over (I’ve just done mine). If however you need an additional key then RRUK on here is your man. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

thanks to all that replied.

It's the board itself the button is missing from, not just the plastic case button.

I'll ping RRUK anyways to see if can be fixed.

...OK update on key fob

had a local electrician solder the micro switch on the pcb board and soldered a new battery on. This worked for the grand total of one day then stopped working.

Purchased a branded rechargeable battery specific to these key fobs and had it soldered on yet again. Worked only a couple of times i.e. was able to lock/unlock vehicle.

Now not working! Big Cry

Anyone any ideas? Thumbs Up RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey
