Lead times - PHEV

Has anyone placed an order for a PHEV recently? I need to replace my car by around mid-December so am wondering when I’d need to place an order. I know there are current supply issues with chips but does anyone know what the current lead time is for this engine?

Haggis,

I have a HSE dynamic black P400e on order since early March, was told 14-18 weeks then, had a confirmation email from the lease co. 2 weeks ago stating it should be with the dealer w/c 21/06/21, spoke to them on Friday about the chip issue, they say currently RRS builds are unaffected so to still expect late June delivery. Just have to wait & see, from what I’m told they only build them roughly 1 week before delivery so mine may yet be effected by this potential delay.

If you need it in December I would be ordering in Late June/early July to be sure.

Unless you have looked already I would seriously consider leasing rather than purchase, loads of great deals out there.

Good luck

Malc

Thanks for the replies. I was guessing I’d need to order over the summer so that sounds about right. I’ll definitely be leasing - there are great deals around and as I’ve no interest in keeping the car even a day past the warranty period, it makes sense.
