Blown rear speaker on Meridian Signature Reference System

Hi all,

After some over-enthusiastic automotive power-ballads, I’ve blown the rear passenger side door main speaker - it’s a 2013 meridian signature reference 1700w system.

Does anyone happen to know what the part number is? I assume it’s not the same as the 825w system speaker? Anyone fitted one themselves? I’m always terrified of taking modern car doors apart…

Any help much appreciated as always.

Do a simple google search, they are even advertised on eBay.

Thanks but it’s not quite as simple as that and those are definitely NOT the correct Hifi systems or speakers. However I have since found the correct ones on eBay being sold only by one UK seller - Powerfull UK.

The correct speaker is called the RRS828 and is £145 2013 L494 V8 s/c Autobiography Dynamic

LR part number is LR033291 (now superceded by LR047119 ) 2013 L494 V8 s/c Autobiography Dynamic

Just to say speaker has arrived and I fitted it myself this morning. 15 minute job - removing door card, replacing speaker and reinstalling door card. No unusual tools required. Video on YouTube from Powerful UK. 2013 L494 V8 s/c Autobiography Dynamic
