Thank's Andy that's what i'm thinking 2.7 don't need a racer just a good tow vehicle i've had discovery's 200 / 300 tdi as mentioned i've got disco td5 so not scared of using my spanner's |

I don't wish to rain on your parade and am the first to acknowledge that Range Rovers are a source of huge owner satisfaction but it comes at a cost.

yeah don't i know it having the ace system go down on my td5 i converted it to hydralic hose then brake pipes most of the spanner work i'll do myself where i can i know these vehicle's can be money pit's and go wrong hopefuly not the way disco 3/4 doe's with snapped crank's an turbo's etc |

Nah, the 2.7 is the bus of RRS. If it's a low mileage toy, get a supercharged V8 petrol and do it properly. 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
