United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Land Rover Experience Day, which is best location?

So ive been given 2 x LR experience vouchers with the arrival of my new TDV8 Sport. My Bros has recently taken delivery of a Vogue SE TDV8 so together we fancy a good old off road thrashing.

The dilema is this.. which location is best, the Dealer says Bala is the best, would be interested to hear your thoughts?

Confused Something else is always something better:

The Ashford one is good, but I still think Eastnor is the best. Both a fair trip from Cheshire though Wink

Or make a weekend of it and go to Dunkeld in Scotland. Beautiful hotel and Perthshire is glorious and the offroad centre has the best mix of terrain on any LR centre I have been to. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema

Actually I'd second Dunkeld - haven't been there personally, but I remember Tim showing us some pics from an LRE he went to there and the scenery was stunning! Thumbs Up

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Dunkeld is brilliant and it really is a greta weekend away for all the family as they are on the site of the Dunkeld Hilton Resort Hotel. The LRE there also has access to some stunning trails set in the grounds of the Atholl Estate and to which nobody else has access. I have been there 3 times now with Freelander, FFRR and RRS ownership and enjoyed every minute of it. It also has to be the full day outing rather than the half day.

After Dunkeld I would say Eastnor has to be the place.

Whichever you choose, if you can possibly go midweek then a) you will get a car to yourself without paying extra and b) you will be the only people there! As I know the folks that teach at Dunkeld I was taken on a very special LRE course when I bought the RRS - we went exploring new trails they were in the process of developing. There are pics over on D3 galleries from when we went there as a D3/RRS outing last year 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
