My Range Rover Sport has a towbar and there is no key with it. I know I can get a new lock kit so how can I remove it without the key? Current cars

If it's a genuine lock kit from L\R it should have instructions how to do it

Or Utube it

Takes about 20 seconds to remove with the right two tools which is why you should always remove it before it gets nicked, also it's good maintenance

Read the key number off the lock barrel and get a replacement key from:-

I've watched it a few times tbh. I've been looking for the older refurb kit but out of stock

Managed to get the Witter fitting instructions on line and reversed the procedure to remove the fixed towbar. The removable one I left on the car when I sold it so if I want a removable one I will need to buy one.  Current cars
