Key fobs not working

Ok guys, I have a issue with key fobs not working, when’t to open car the other day and no of my key fobs worked, car has never had this issue before!!one of my fobs is brand new a couple of months ago so fob batteries aren’t the issue. Been looking through a number of forums on issue one issue keeps popping up is the three green wires connected together in wiring loom on passenger side but it’s relating to D3 my question is it the same on RRS?

Hi Drobe did you get anywhere with this? Both of my fobs have stopped working, can only start the car by holding the fob to the steering column!! My car has been unlocked for days 😟 the fobs are doing nothing. Changed the batteries also 2016 Yulong White L494 AB/DYN 3.0SDV6

I had same problem. I pulled fuse out of boot fuse box relating to keyless entry, fuse 45 I think and all ok now. Or disconnect battery and should do the same trick. I think the problem will be to do with the KVM module but mine has been ok since fuse pulled out.

Even though my fobs or keyless entry didn’t work I could still lock and unlock my car with the app on my phone. Have you tried this?

Hi Johnrrs... thanks for the info, I will try pulling the fuse today. Hopefully that sorts it out. I haven’t tried with the app I will try that now. Any idea where I can find out what fuse it is for certain? Also should this be done with the ignition on or off? 2016 Yulong White L494 AB/DYN 3.0SDV6

Its in the handbook under fuses somewhere. Ignition off. There are 2 fuses in the handbook in relation to keyless entry. I pulled both of them out. When i put one back in i heard a rekey click and hey presto everything worked. The fuse box is behind a panel on the right in the boot. Be careful not to break any clips like i did.

Is it the passive locking fuses you pulled John in the boot? 2016 Yulong White L494 AB/DYN 3.0SDV6

That’s good news. Mine did it again2 weeks later so did the same thing and has been ok ever since. I’m sure it will happen again in the future and if it does it more frequently I’ll get it looked at. I’m sure it’s the KVM module that’s on its way out possibly. Did the locking work with your app?

At least we know how to sort it now and anybody else it happens to.. amazing how many times this forum has saved me going to the stealers! I noticed there is a few spare fuses in the boot space as well. 2016 Yulong White L494 AB/DYN 3.0SDV6
