Given the additional complexities caused by the thermostatic valve in the pipework, id love to hear how you flushed an 8HP box properly Thumbs Up

I just have my indie do it during a service. I don't need to drop random strangers from the internet a line to find out how to do it.

We'd all be interested to know how you did it, however, so please do put up a write up. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hello IronDuke50

Hello and welcome

Please do excuse us for our scepticism, but your post does read a lot like.
"I am an African Prince in exile, if you send me 2000 dollars I will reward you with 2million"
It is not a new thing trying to scam car clubs, not saying you are. Just your post is of a very similar ilk.
If you had done any research on the club you would find most of us have already replaced the gearbox oil, the cost is not in the work but in the cost of the oil. Many specialist (some who are members) now have special equipment for changing the oil, but a full breakdown on your method would be beneficial.
Thanks again

Whilst your post does come across as condescending and quite conceited, I think there are some good points to be picked out from there.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your method, even if it could have been done with a little more modesty and less drama. Kev
