How to put EPB in service mode ?

I have a 2017 L494 SVR which needs new rear pads but after a update on my scan tool it now won't talk to the car 🙈

I have seen online that you can put a Evoque in service mode by holding the EPB and throttle pedal down then turning the ignition off and back on again is this the same for a sport when the handbrake is on the calipers ? As can't find anyone showing it done on a sport. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior
2012 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography santorini black with ebony/cirrus interior. Gone

Link to extract from a L494 Workshop Manual, don't know if it is the same procedure for the SVR though but don't see why not.
