Christmas quiz

Here's a little teaser for you. Who can tell me what's wrong here?

A few clues; TDV8 4.4 - The car drove here with a misfire due to a faulty injector. No smoke or anything else wrong to report. Injector replaced a week later. Engine reluctant to start now. Once it does start, it won't idle. Hold revs at 1500rpm and no misfire now, but lots of smoke and fluid pouring out the exhaust..

Is the fluid coolant?
If it is my guess is some form of fuel cooler which uses the coolant system has failed?
That bloody steam engine would frighten the life out of me and make me switch it off!

Hi,
I will guess I meant diagnose Whistle its a fuel pump fault supplying a Tad toooooo much fuel

Thumbs Up its Going, Going ! now Gone.
Replaced with a Cayenne 2020

If that's antifreeze, is it the right colour?

I bought a Volvo truck that had the wrong antifreeze in it, it caused air bubbles to form around the piston liner and subsequently punched holes through them.

Result was a new engine, luckily half the cost was born by Volvo as a dealership had botched a previous repair which may have contributed to its demise.

Yes Dave, that's the antifreeze. It's standard ethylene glycol. .

Should it be standard ethylene glycol? OAT stuff is orange isn't it? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

2nd guess, done it again I Diagnose fault as

customer has topped up the coolant system but they put it in the oil filler by mistake and Brimmed it Shocked
