My new MY20 has 275/45/21. Due to where I live and what I'll be using the vehicle for I'd like a taller sidewall. If I go to a 20" wheel, tyre comparison gives an extra inch and a half of sidewall height with 265/60/20. Question is will they fit ok ie rub anywhere? that size is available in BFG AT hence why I'm asking. I don't want to have to raise the suspenstion etc

Before you go spending money on any modification, I would suggest you ask your insurance company if they're happy with it or not. If not, they may well void your insurance in the event of a claim. Oh, and get it in writing

Why not go for 255/55/20, the LR standard fit for 20" wheels?

Tim, they're not available in that size in BFG AT. Duratracs are as mentioned above but the load rating is not sufficient.

It's a nuisance tbh. Best speed rating we can hope for in an AT is probably H, yet there's no homologated tyres on the LR website which are suitable in any kind of AT pattern. Ironic when you think about it that LR spend millions developing electronic offroad aids, yet the most basic offroad aid, your tyre pattern, is essentially ignored.

Someone I used to know knew the exact word for this, KISS Keep It Simple Stupid.
