One of the air vents in the back of the centre console is broken so I’d like to replace the panel with a second hand one how easy is it to change? Steve

2005 2.7 TDV6 HSE, ongoing project.
1998 Volvo V70 R auto FWD, Back on the road again.
1999 BMW Z3 (owned from new) garage queen.

You need to remove the fridge or cubby liner.
There is then one torx screw holding the panel from the rear. This can be left out
The rest is easy but I can’t remember

I think there maybe 2 torx bolts visible on the panel.
And also clips hold it in.

The broken vent doesn’t bother that much in the great scheme of things but if it’s easy and cheap I’ll do it.
