Tow bar (again)

Hi all,

Looking to buying a 2020 svr but unfortunately it hasn’t got a tow bar !!
The dealer wants over £3000 to fit one 😫 I don’t really want to pay that.
Has anyone found an alternative that works on the svr, not had much joy searching the internet.
Needs to be a detachable one.

Thanks

Hi,
we have used this company before for company estate cars but no idea about for the RRS Question
only bar they are listing that does not exclude the SVR is this one but it does exclude the hybrid and HSR? what ever that is Laughing

something to look at anyway.

Thumbs Up

Electrical Deployable towbar

I can highly recommend the electronic deployable towbar fitted by LR. When paying all that £££, search for a car that has it fitted. I too was quoted £3000, but they have to take the back of the car apart! I waited a while and found one with the electronic deployable towbar already fitted. Interesting, as a factory option, it is £1000! The problem with a manual detachable towbar is you are kneeling in the mud all the time to fit it.

Hi,
dont think I ever knelt down to fit ours, Whistle you do have to bend down though not just press a button Laughing

and

if your doing it many times a week may be a fixed style is better suited to the job anyway.
