parking sensors

Hi Guy's.

Moved over from a Disco 3 to the sport. Had parking sensors on all the time in the disco. However don't seem to be able to keep my parking sensor on in the sport as it did on the disco.
Can switch it on manually when parking forward, however the light goes out when stopped and then I have to manually switch it back on. Should it be on permanently, is there a setting to have on always?
I don't mean the green triangle sensor, for moving traffic too close I fathomed that out. Just the parking sensor!
Hope that makes sense!

Kevin

Which model RRS do you have? Original L320, facelifted L320 or one of the L494 versions? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Mine come on (front and back) after selecting reverse and both stay on until you go forwards over a certain speed, around 25mph I would guess, or switch off the ignition Joined the X5 45e club

2016 L494 A/B..4.4

In the old Disco the parking sensor light was lit up permanently, but only beeped when close to obstacle. Maybe it needs setting some how!

Very early on in the disco life they considering leaving them on a bad idea Sad so changed the ecu.

I don’t think you stand much hope in reconfiguration.
