Rear hatch mind of its own.

I wondered if anyone else has met this issue.

In January I collected my prereg RRS from a distance dealer, and when I got home the hatch kept going up and down, hitting me once. I called Assistance who could find nothing wrong. Then it behaved for over eight months.

A few days ago I was going out, drove off and found the hatch was up, fortunately nothing fell out of my packed boot, and I assumed senility, except to close my gate I had to go past the boot and couldn't see how I would miss it. Then then next time I went out the hatch opened and closed once, on its own, as I walked by, again had I touched the key?
Just now went out to the local shop, in heavy rain and hatch went up and down five times, stopping part way twice, before continuing.
As far as I can remember all occurred when raining.

LR assistance coming tomorrow morning, though I bet nothing happens. 20 RRS P400e HSE Dynamic Eiger grey/Ebony - Gone

I had this all the time when I first got mine but only when washing the car, the water would run over the sensor I believe and send the gesture tail gate nuts. I now leave my key in the garage when I wash the car. 2016 Yulong White L494 AB/DYN 3.0SDV6
