Hi, I have had my 2014 L494 for 4 months. It has 12 month Land Rover warranty and a full LR dealer service history. Today I noticed that the back of the drivers heated seat does not work, the base works fine.

Is there a connector I could be looking for or is this a trip to the dealer for repair. And if so, will the warranty cover it as I assume it is not an item that requires routine service. Current - 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6

Unfortunately not. I don't have separate controls for back and base. My car is only an early L494 HSE Current - 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6

If it’s the approved used warranty then I would say it’s covered, as unless it’s classed as a wear and tear item for a vehicle of that age then it would be covered. From my experience the Land Rover dealers seem to want to make a decision on whether something is covered rather than the warranty provider, always push them to refer it to car plan who administer the policy. MY2017 RRS Capathian Grey
