Pirelli Scorpion Verde or Zero

Looking at changing my tires soon and narrowed it down to Pirelli Scorpion Verde and Pirelli scorpion Zero in 275/45/21.
Mainly road use with a couple of times per week on farm tracks to go shooting.

I would appreciate any advice to help make the right choice.

having had both on RRS my vote is for the zero. Think they are marginally better off road but both are good tyres

Thanks Ben. That’s kind of mirrored my thoughts about the zeros being as they have a more aggressive tread pattern.

Just seen your other post re wheel and tyre sizes. I would definitely confirm that 20's are much more comfortable and 19's even more so. I have run both using the 20's for Grabber AT tyres.

Still undecided about about getting the 20inch. It’s not that I want bigger wheels. I’d much rather prefer smaller with more tyre wall. It’s the added cost of buying the wheels and then booting them over just getting new tyres for the ones I have now.

I had AT tyres Fitted to 17inch rims on my Freelander and they were excellent when out shooting across fields and heavily mudded tracks, just not sure I want them on the rrs

I have 275/40/20s. My driving consists of what amounts to about 35% country roads, 30% 'A' roads, 30% motorway, and 5% off road. (Off road is mainly rock/gravel.) I only do about 6000 miles per year though. Pirelli Scorpion Zero's continue to be my all time fav. They tick all my boxes and that's what's on there now. They perform well at all sensible speeds on very hot summer roads and very wet winter ones. No snow or ice here. Barrie.

I have Verde's and genuinely can't fault them, 35k miles and still going off original set too.
