United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver
Independents in West Sussex/Hampshire/Surrey Border

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good independent service place in West Sussex/Hampshire/Surrey border area? I'm looking to get brakes fitted all-round. I'm thinking an upgrade to EBC slotted and dimpled discs with EBC Greenstuff. Good idea or stick with OEM?

Cheers,

Stuart. Cheers,

Stuart.

Slotted and dimpled discs, might look good (depending of your point of view), but will not improve braking in any way whatsoever, however they will increase dust for your wheels to look a mess in next to no time.

Brembo high carbon discs all day and every day for me, and unless you go for ceramic low dust items, Brembo pads as well.

Dave @ R&G Autocare in Lancing is worth a shout, 01903 764423, tell him DBT Dave gave you his number.

Just seen you want an indie higher up than the south coast, sorry can't help there. 2010 3.6 TDV8 HSE (Gone)

Thanks Dave. Lancing is a bit of a travel but, thanks for the advice on the Brembo's. I'm going to give them a call anyway as I'm often down that way.

Cheers,
Stuart. Cheers,

Wouldn't bother with brembo pads on a S/C, binned them on mine pretty quick, couldn't stop them squealing.

Cheers

Currently running EBC Orangestuff H/D SUV pads, but not approved for use in the EU something to do with the way the lining materials attached to the backing plate. I think EBC Yellowstuff is a recommended good alternative.

Cheers

OK. Here you go:
1) Petersfield Garage Services and ask that Mark Palmer works on it. He runs a Sport himself and is a big Land Rover enthusiast Thumbs Up He does all the work on mine that I can’t handle and I’m a fussy Censored Rolling with laughter
2) SLR Automotive in Haslemere nr the station
3) AJ LandRover nr Bentley. Archie is a big LR enthusiast too Thumbs Up

Mark P uses EBC Green on his Sport I think 🤔
