Approved used with MOT advisories

Hi all, I just purchased a 2016 plate from an LR dealer under the approved used scheme. Turns out the recent MOT conducted by them prior to selling had advisories for front discs and rear flexi pipes. What is the LR policy on selling approved used with advisories?

They used to be covered under mot warranty & anything upto £750 covered if it failed on them, the rear brake pipes are know for corroding on the L494,I’ve replaced a fair few.I would ask for them putting right before purchasing. Andy.

I'd have it looked at by an independent that you trust. Wouldn't be the first time a dealer has "made up" some stuff that needs doing... Whistle 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Well, well, well. what a coincidence. I bought a new Sport from Pentland Range Rover Perth & took out a service plan so it obviously went back there for service. When it was 3 years old took it to them for service & first Mot.
Car had 6042 miles (just looked it up) & had advisories for guess what. Front discs & rear flexies & at that time I think they wanted around £900-£1000. It was around that anyway. I said that if they only last 6000 miles they should be done under warranty. No chance
Took it to Mike who had a look & he said should last for a couple of years at least. Nothing wrong with rear flexies. Around a year later, because I was overthinking it, got Mike to do the front discs at a fraction of the dealer price.
As I said what a coincidence or is it Whistle

Faith restored, dealer is replacing the advisory items, were very understanding when I visited them in person. Thank you all for your advice.
