Despite the failures you read on the web/FB etc, weve not had a single failure across the whole range, on anything that we've serviced regularly

I Had One go a week after I sold the car,33000 miles full LR history & oil changed (Castrol) between services,as Disco_Mikey says it’s pot luck with the 3.0 engine,I’ve seen them go low mileage & high mileage.

Cheers for the quick replies guys, sorry I wasn’t clear, yes it is the 3.0d SDV6, I wasn’t aware it has the same engine as my previous XJ. I have a local Indy LR garage who I intend to phone after the Bank Hol to get there opinion as well. Other point is, these machines are very techy with all the electronic 4 wheel drive system and air suspension, and although like 99% of other users, I won’t be taking it off road, are there any known problems with regards to those items?

Also check the rear brake pipes as they are prone for corroding,I’ve changed a fair few from 2013’s to 2015’s.Easy change for a Indy to do,it takes me around 45 minutes to change both sides.Hard to see them unless you have the car up in the air.
