Cable routing

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good way to get a cable from the front fuse box (glove box) through the car to the boot please?
Thank you, Ash

All I did with rear dashcam wire was pull the front and rear door seals down a bit, run the wire up the "A" post across the top of door frames and tucked it under the "A" post trim and along edge of Head Lining and refitted the seals, if you actually want it right into the boot you can easily feed it through between head lining and roof panel then down the D & E post. If you are just looking for permanent and ignition feeds in the boot you could just tap into the tow bar wiring behind the boot nearside trim panel or if I remember correctly you can also access the trailer connectors by removing the n/s rear light unit but that might be on earlier cars, and use fuses 48 battery feed and 54 ignition feed for the trailer supply in the passenger side fuse box.

Alternatively if you don't have the locking rear diff you should find spare unused plug/connectors for this behind the l/h boot panel you could connect into the yellow one I think.

Cheers

Hi, Thank you, I will try through the roof lining, It's a sport so I don't think there is the locking rear diff also haven't found a fuse box or connectors in the boot. Ash

The active locking rear diff was a option but quite rare, no fuse box in the boot for the facelift RRS1 the plugs/connectors will be behind the L/H boot trim panel.
