Wanted; plastic sill covers

I knew that the side steps were a bit, well, tired and a round to job was buying an after market set and fitting them to the current brackets. However, on looking under the car, the brackets actually look beyond salvaging. Having had a bit of a read up, I am a bit put off by the prospect of seized/sheared nuts (oo er missus) and the brackets needing a bit of percussion engineering to get them to fit.
I am now thinking that the easiest solution it to bin the steps and find a set of non-cut sill trims and stick them on.
So, if anyone has a set of uncut trims surplus to requirements, please let me know and we can discuss price etc. Thumbs Up

Might be worth posting this in the "For Sale & Wanted" section ... 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far......
2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg!
1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim
Lots of other non 4X4's in between times.........

Bite the bullet,,, the brackets will certainly not be worth saving. Shear the heads off the bolts,,you might be lucky and get a couple out, drill and re-tap the holes 8mm, just done mine,,,,,, not a big job at all. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

If you decide to go down the removal route, I've got a pair of uncut sills from my 2008 TDV8. Not sure if they fit yours or not.
