so i swapped out one sides brakes shoes and discs.

during this only the wheel i was changing is off the ground.

so i couldnt position the hole for brake shoes adjustment since it would attempt to move all 4 tyres when i tried to turn the one i was working on.

so i left the knurl fully closed.

when i turn on the car it throws parking brake fault and makes a noise like a cat is screeching, i assume the issue is because its not been adjusted and i haven't actually broken anything.

i will adjust it when i do the other side and get some heavy duty jack stands.

You only need to have 1 wheel up.

Jack car up. Put axel strand under 1 side for safety
Choc front wheels. Choc in the boot floor
Put gear selector in N
Park brake off
Remove key.
Should really remove P brake fuse to prevent any cat sceeetch probs
Now wheel will rotate

All sorted ta. What happened was the parking brake cable slipped out of the enclosure cause I did it wrong so the cable is fully shut hence the noise from the motor. I just need to replace on of my wear sensor cause I broke it and slam dunk.

The neutral tip made it all happen although I did bend one of my chocs Sad drove onto em

I've driven over my chocs a few times Sad . I think I need to make a sign to hang on the steering wheel reminding me they are there! Robin
