i think you have a suspension problem here, my tyres on two RRS have all worn evenly, Michelin and Pirelli.

all the best

If I recall correctly, the Conti sports have had a bad reputation for shoulder wear. I had a couple on mine and both scrubbed the shoulders. I would avoid them for that reason alone.

Or there’s the new Pirelli Scorpion Zero all season. They come fitted to some newer JLR products from the factory - and they’re on offer at mytyres.co.uk (in 21” at least) at the moment.

Pity Pirelli don’t get the mountain & snowflake symbol, either because they don’t meet the spec or they don’t test. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 S Zermatt Silver

I replaced my Pirelli Scorpions (255/55R20) with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.

Had over 50,000klm with Pirelli and still plenty of meat.. Was about to do 10,000klm road trip across OZ and decided to put new tyres on. Had difficulty getting Pirelli and went for the Goodyears.
Only done 15,000klm on these but have found them to be as good if not better than Pirelli. Great handling in wet/dry with no sign of wear yet.

Gone: MY10, TDV6 Sport, Zermatt Silver, Sunroof, 18" Rally alloys.

I second the Goodyear Eagle F1s, took my RRS off-roading proper on Tuesday and the tyres held up. --

They do two versions now of the Verde All Season. 3MPSF symbol version is called "Scorpion Verde All Season SF" rather than "Scorpion Verde All Season". Perhaps they'll do the same with the Zero all season, or maybe the extra siping and softer compound required would make the tyre to squirmy for "performance SUVs"? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Different type of conditions to those normally found in the UK, however. In typical UK muddy/wet grass conditions, they'd be struggling. Heck, even ATs struggle at times. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks - will look out for the new SF variant. Can’t see what sizes are available nor anyone selling them in 245/45R20 which is what I’ll need next for the wife’s Evoque.

I was hoping the relatively new German laws re: Winter tyres might provoke them into providing a 3PMSF all-season. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Pirelli's website - which they seem to redesign every 5 minutes - has a way of checking the tyres for a given vehicle. Just put in your version of Evoque and it'll tell you what tyres fit it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
