Harman Kardon Logic7 sounds 'tinny'?

Am i imagining it or is there something wrong with mine? It sounds like all the sound is coming out of the front speaker in mono or something.

The door speakers are working, i can feel them vibrate if i put my hand on them.

Turning the bass right up helps but turning the sub up just makes the back end shake.

The front/back option (dont know what its called) is at factory default in the middle/front.

It just sounds tinny. The wife's Peugeot 3008 sounds better/normal and the Insignia i had prior to this does too. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

I had this system. It is not a great sound system. But it is not a bad system, and far from it. If you’re able to turn the bass right up then something is horribly wrong! I may have had bass turned up 1 notch but that’s it.

Has the subwoofer gone? It feels like one speaker might have gone kaput, perhaps due to a wiring issue. You might need to take the whole thing apart. But first you need someone with ears to compare with what they know. I suggest, social distancing permitting (ha) to test drive another Sport with Logic7 and compare the sound of the tunes. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I'll have a proper look around and make sure all the speakers are working, didn't realise one speaker could make such a bad difference to the entire system. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

Yes, i've switched between Logic7 and Stereo. To be honest i was hoping normal stereo would sound better but its the same. L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

What spec is it as it’s possible to turn the logic 7 buttons on in the CCF but not have the hardware. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Its the Autobiography, all the speakers are physically there and they have the Logic7 logo on them.

No idea what a CCF is though Laughing L494 3.0L SDV6 Autobiography in Chile Red (Current)

Don’t take this the wrong way but is it defo an Autobiography? Lots of dealers sell the HSE as a AB. Does it say AB on the V5?

The reason I ask is that you say it’s a 2013 AB TDV6 in Baltic Blue. According to the literature I have, the TDV6 ended in 2011 and was replaced by the SDV6 and Baltic Blue was suspended in May 2011 (But was back for 2012 which could be down to the Japanese shortage of pigment).

I’m not questioning your vehicle, more that a dealer hasn’t done a fast one. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Difference is .3 sec to 60 and 4mph top speed. Realistically it’s a better engine with more power but more importantly it’s coupled with an 8 speed box. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Looks like it is according to that, but as Chris said there is quite a difference between having logic 7 switched on or off.
