Malaysia
2.7L TDV6 shock absorber life

My car is a MY2009 and has now covered close to 200,000 miles in tropical weather. Not wishing to push my luck, I believe it's about time the air springs were renewed.

My question to fellow Landy owners here...........What is the average life span of front and rear shocks?

I am asking so I can make an informed decision whether to renew just the air springs or air springs
+ shocks as a set.

TIA

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Dampers that have done 200,000 miles will be very tired. As the whole strut has to come out to change the air bags, and the whole strut is a similar price to the air bag alone, it makes sense to just replace the whole thing - especially if you're paying someone to strip the struts to replace the air bag. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
