2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 - Gearbox fault

Hi all and thanks in advance for taking a look at this topic, I recently bought a Range Rover Sport 3.0 tdv6 been happy with it as of the other day it knocked itself out of gear when approaching a roundabout i fiddled about with the gear stick and it went back in its like it was a loose cable or maybe something to do with the gear stick itself the gearbox isn't crunching or making any unusual knocks bangs and goes through the gears fine but TODAY the gearbox fault WARNING light came on does anyone know what this might be ? I turned it off and on and the warning light is not showing anymore

THANKS !!!

Seized gear linkage

Emergency fix if you cant get in a garage is to get underneath, drop the gearbox shield clean the linkage with penetrating oil or similar while working the lever then spray some silicone grease on it.
I'm sure there is a how to change it guide on Disco3 forum, maybe even posted my DM.
