Fuel leak..

Disaster.. The wife had been out in the RRSS and came home complaining of a smell of petrol.
Sure enough there are some tiny pin hole leaks in a thin rubber hose that is just under the driver side rear door.
What pipe is that? It's connected to a small round valve with electric connectors on it..

Fuel filter is on that side by the drivers door, maybe pipes running from there or to there from fuel tank???

I'm sure someone will be along to confirm

Hmm.. don’t know. As far as I can see there are the two metal fuel pipes fixed to the frame the running along them is this rubber pipe. It’s stopped spraying fuel now the pressure has gone. I sent a photo to my mate at the local garage and even he doesn’t recognise it. I find it odd that there is a rubber pipe in such a vulnerable position for an alleged off road vehicle..

Any chance it's shown here at all?

The two lines on the left I assume are petrol fuel lines. The rubber hose in question is the next one along that is connected to that round valve thing. It's got pin holes in it and was spraying petrol all over the place.
Ive got some fuel pipe in the garage so I'll have another look later and I may be able to repair it.
It would be interesting to know what it is though..

That does look a little aftermarket fitment of some sort, don't suppose somebody has fitted a electric fuel shut of solenoid for some reason or something like that.

Well it does have a brc Lpg system on it. Maybe it's something to do with that.

Yep. It's part of the lpg system. Don't know what it does though. The rubber hose either side of it have pin holes in so it sprays petrol about.

if its LPG it'll be part of a fuel return line system.
