First post. First major problem

Firstly can I say this forum is God send, I have trawled these pages many a long night and the wealth of knowledge is amazing.

I have a 59 plate 3.0 sport (facelift), that has completed 118k.

I was driving quite happily from my home in kent to Birmingham ( roughly 160 miles) , when about 50 miles from my destination suddenly had gearbox fault message on the dash, along with ( now let me try and remember as this was before the lock down ) something about brakes and stability. Now I got to my destination and all seemed fine, gearbox changing gear ok. Only special programs not available. So couldn't be stuck in Birmingham so drive back to kent. With said gearbox fault message. But nothing else about brakes and stability. As I came of the motorway and into town , I've noticed a knocking noise more so when I turn left and right.. gearbox still changes gear ok .. I have plugged in my laptop ( I have a diagnostic called RWS 4D Can ( google it, see what you think ) it pulled up a couple of faults but nothing specifically for the gearbox .

Will post the codes shortly

Any thoughts or anyone had similar symptoms
Thanks in advance
Paul ( noobie rrsport owner, be gentle )
