I love my TDV6 HSE - not fast but its quick enough for this type of vehicle - and it is great on juice - residuals are I can't help but think they will fall out of bed - with a crash.

Having said all that I think I'll probably buy one in 8 months and get the full year or so out of mine Rolling Eyes

Agreed, the RRS needs a 3L diesel with X5 like performance. That would be perfect and have solid residuals.

I tended to find that I pushed the TDv6 a lot and that screwed the Mpg, whereas in teh tdv8 its a delicate little push on the loud pedal , and boy all thoses startled BMW drivers.

Totally agree. At the moment I am 2 mpg down on normal but it's only 2 days old so early days. Rob

Well, up to today was a "thinking about it" man, but after a day with the TDV8, am not so sure, Bar for the fuel consumption, the car was just not as refined as the 4.4 petrol,
Don't get me wrong, performance wise, in everyday situations, was not far short of the 4.4, but lacked the smoothness, After jumping out the TD, the 4.4 was a pleasure to drive home, If it was a everyday car, and fuel was a consideration, then yes, maybe
So for the time being, sorry a definite "no" man 997 TT, RR TDV8 Vog SE 90 V8 Hybrid

Think i'll stick with my fighterbomber for now ......................... think i'll just nip out for a blast with the windows down .................. Ooooooooooooohhh that sound Bow down

BUT

If i was to change [ being sensible ] - it will be for a later version - such as 08/09 model year release - In WHITE ......... but if things aren't radically different enough, then posss jump ship to another brand/car altogether Confused Who knows ?????
