L494 2014 Timing belt change etc

Hi, having just changed the timing belt, pulleys, tensioner, water pump and alternator why di I think that the engine now sounds more 'Throaty' than it did before? It does remind me of having a air intake pipe loose but can't see any that are? I might be going mad!
